Hello, I have a 2019 veloster N non PP. I'm in middle Tennessee, and I'm looking for someone or anywhere near me that could tune my car. I'd prefer a Dyno tune, but so far nowhere I've called has the equipment to tune a Veloster N. Can anyone point me in the right direction? If I can't get a dyno tune what would be the next best option? I've researched about SXTH element tunes, JB4, and LAP3 but I hear both good and bad things about each of them. I'm new to tuning so any advice would be appreciated.
I'm not looking to push my N too hard, as I daily it 100 miles for work. Stage 1 is what I'm thinking of starting with unless stage 2 with the proper supporting mods would be mechanically reliable. I understand even stock with aggressive driving would be less reliable than stage 2 with "calmer" driving.
My current mods are:
Takeda CAI + inlet
Big mouth snorkel
Saiku Michi catch can
Planned mods before tune:
Shark racing Catted downpipe
HPFP
Heat range 9 spark plugs from N75
FMIC
Lastly, I've heard that stage 2 can be risky with the stock turbo. I'm interested in upgrading to an EN turbo, but I want to know if the larger turbo will put more stress on the internals of the engine.
Thanks for any input and I'm happy to be here 🙂
