The bottom set. I didn’t realize there were two different models. I had thought they were one in the same

you can only get the top set (OZ hypergt HLT) as 18”s from Hyundai. I think they are the only way to get it in the stock +55 offset and the N center cap. Of course you can still buy regular OZ racing hypergt HLT’s But I don’t think they come in that specific offset and you would have to get the CF center caps from Hyundai. If you wanted that of course. I don’t have that much info on the bottom set though, not my style of wheel. I would imagine though any specific wheel coming from a car manufacturer as “aftermarket” is going to be overpriced. Probably because +55 offset is kinda rare also.

Does lowering eliminate the ability to change dampener settings?
As long as you purchase simple Springs like h&R sports Etc you're totally fine. Your adaptive suspension will not be affected since you aren't touching your stock shock absorbers. However if you bought a set of coilovers (which include springs and shocks) then you would completely disable your adjustable damping. I have adjustable dampers on my mk7 Golf R and I installed h&R Sports Springs, and have had them for about 3 years. Definitely looks a lot better and hasn't compromised ride quality. I highly recommend h&R personally which are not too much of a drop and retain stock ride quality while still getting rid of the wheel Gap. Not sure if h&R offers Super Sports for the velosterer n but that will lower you up to 2 inches and is much more aggressive. I wouldn't recommend them if you want to retain the cars stock feel overall.

I've been searching for these wheels that I saw on a Veloster N on a YouTube channel. Does anyone know what brand and model they are?

I think they're these; RFG7
Sorry, I know you're not even the one who was inquiring on these wheels but I was wrong. They're actually the rxf11. Three different models are almost identical

Seems like a lot of people are running 18x8. I assume for track/autocross use? I have a pair of leftover MPSS in 245/45/19 from my Supra i wanted to use for this car. Thinking about getting some Grammlights 57DR if i can find them in 19x8. Think that would work or would i have to go 19x9?

I’m not sure if you’ll find a 19x9 that will fit without rubbing on a 245/45/19 tire. Not saying it can’t be done, but I am just not aware of it. You’ll likely need some fairly serious negative camber. But it would look great if you can make it work!

oh wow, so even if i were to lower on lowering springs i'd see some significant rubbing? So it looks like people are running 18s on this platform more so that they can run a wider tire?

I’m just basing what I wrote on what I’ve read. Personally I’m running 18x8.5+45 on 235/40/18 tires with -2° front camber with no rubbing at all.

245/45-19 is about 2" bigger rolling diameter than stock tires. I'd think that's a bigger problem than the 245 width itself. For 19" tires, you may be able to do 245/35-19, which is a bit larger than stock and similar to the 245/40-18 size some people use successfully. But I don't recall seeing anyone running that size in 19" so I'm not sure on fitment.
