New here, I have a red and white N, the white a 2020 and red is a 2022. As heard in the videos, my white one is much louder, and more aggressive, especially in the pops. Consider that in the red video the camera is right up to the exhaust, and the white one is farther from the camera and is still loud. My red one, ever since I got it has sounded A LOT quieter, less aggressive, and the pops sound very muffled where the white one is like gunshots?!?!? I've obviously done my research but all I could find was the dct's (red is a dct, white is a manual) apparently might have a different, quieter exhaust from factory. The other issue it could be is a stuck exhaust valve from carbon buildup which would make a lot of sense but then again when going into N mode there is a slight audible difference so the exhaust valve might be opening even if only a little bit. There's nothing online about it and I'm at my wits end wondering WHY this would even be happening considering it ONLY HAS 5K MILES??? Some side notes: The red one just refuses to pop after 2nd gear, sometimes NOT AT ALL. The white one consistently pops every time twice, (as heard in the video) while the red one pops like that only sometimes. I even re-created the same video as the white one with the red one to get a sound benchmark but the red one just sounded like grumbles or something, the type and number of pops I get are very inconsistent (if yall want I can upload another video or two). Everything's under warranty so maybe taking it to a dealership might be a good idea idk.
