I love it and think the volume is perfect. Hyundai really knocked it out of the park with the N exhaust in general.

I personally have just gotten to the point that I want to exhaust sound for myself and not to alert every cop within a mile radius.😄 The performance blue already draws enough attention.

Hell yes. I removed my resonator just to get a few extra pops too. It doesn't drone or get much louder other than the extra pops at 4500 rpm.

 

I like DCT farts and I still get a fair amount of snaps and pops on decel. TBH, I prefer the tones of the my exhaust. Plus, I'm driving a red cop magnet so no need for added attention.

 

I drove a 2019 Manual N, and remembered a more aggressive bang and pop note coming from the exhaust. But now with my DCT 2021 its quite different. I still love the sound but it's quieter and you have to try hard to get some pops sometimes. One of my friend got a reso delete and its pretty perfect. It doesn't pop like the manual but you can ear them much louder ... when you get one.

So no, yes (thinking about reso delete or mid pipe for the warranty) ... I just want a little more or maybe I'll start with a DP

I just buy a downpipe. the thought of that Downpipe was keeping me up tonight.
20 days of shipping later. I'll post a review for the DCT guys out there.

I wonder how much of a difference the stock axel back actually makes. I've seen video but it's still hard to get a feel for it.

I can get a stock axelback off a manual for $399 or a midpipe which could run $450ish. I'd almost be inclined to use stock parts, but if you have an upgrade path in mind the mid pipe is probably the way to go.

Side note: Wonder if anyone who went aftermarket with their exhaust would be willing to part with their old axel back for cheap.

 

Sure. I was thinking about doing a DIY video of the installation.
After this ill take couple videos with a pro microphone inside and ouside the car with close and open exhaust valve.
So 4 takes total.

I love the sound of my DCT. The manual sounds awesome but I love that the DCT is a little more subtle. Also, if I want to play a little, I just push it in to manual/paddle shift and hang out the revs myself. I to am driving the “hey everyone look at me” colour way ,”ignite flame” and I love it👍🏾
