Where are you putting your phone? How about your garage door opener?

Yeah, I know it's a trivial question, but where are you putting your phone? Especially interested if you are tieing to Android Auto or Apple Carplay via USB.

While the subject of outside gizmos, where are you putting the garage door opener? I'm putting it in the sunglass pop-up tray over the rear-view mirror.

These things matter more when you drive a stick and need the gizmos to just be very handy.

I keep my phone in the compartment under the center stack. I use a short cable to connect my phone for Apple Car Play. Eventually I will get a phone mount and mount it to the left of the center stack and use the same cable for Car Play.

Nothing special. Center portion under the info-tainmemt system.

I mount the phone here. Mostly to reduce clutter and also use it at the track

Thanks for the photos!

I used to have a dash mount for my phone in my previous car. From the photos, it looks like your mount is attached without any adhesive using the vent. Is that correct?

Would you mind sharing with us what mount you used? I might get one.
