I finished my lighting upgrade. ALL LEDs every where. The coolest ones are the turn signals. Being how the headlight housing is completely closed off I didnt want to try n tap in some resistors, found some LED 1157s and 1156s with the resister and can bus built in that are super bright! Lasfit was the brand I used and so far very easy install and very nice looking in case anyone else was having this dilemma.

Red,

You are right. Sorry about that. It just seems like there is a new money grab here on a monthly basis..... lol....

Br,

I'm kidding actually and I understand, it's everywhere. Soon as government gives recipients of Social Security a 1.2% raise, everything follows.:crying: When is the last time we've heard anything going down in price especially fuel?

Hey bud,

Check these out. Way cheaper than the rest too.

Best regards,

I'm also looking for an alternative to the stock mats, which are of horrible quality. They are literally starting to disintegrate and I only have 3k miles on the car.

WeatherTech mats look good, but they're priced way too steep. $130-$140 for just the fronts is insane. I'm not used to paying more than $30-$40 for floor mats.

It would appear that you've had these Lloyd mats since at least July of last year. How are they holding up so far? Any cracking? Do they have holes that fit stock anchors?

Yes, they have the holes to fit the stock anchors. They are holding up just fine, no cracking. I have all of them, even the one in the hatch.

Swapped the stock mirror with the auto-dimming version (plus Homelink buttons) (see this thread). I didn't realize how much I missed having the auto-dimming mirror in my GenCoupe until I noticed how much lower the VN is (along with the number of lifted trucks around ATL...). While I was up there, I took the time to hard-wire my V1. Oh yeah... And I added in the WeatherTech mats up front a week or so ago.

Thanks Mike. I’m happy with chalk white. It reminds of mineral white in BMW. VN doesn’t get garage privilege so I thought white would hide the dirt the best among the four color choices.

Personally I don't like the look of a carbon fiber gas cap on a white, blue, or red car. Makes it look like your fuel lid is missing from a distance. And reminds me of the chrome cover trend back in the day. Not my style. I prefer a more monochromatic look to my vehicles. Everyone has a different idea of what they like and what looks good though so do what you like. I try not to judge what others do.

Hi everyone! I bought my new VN 2 months ago and just found this forum today and joined. I just installed my first mod which is the AEM cold air intake. Highly recommend this air intake. It went on in less than an hour and it really lets you hear the factory blow off/ redirect valve!
