Heyo,

Anyone know what voids and what doesn't void the Hyundai Warranty. I understand that as long as it doesn't hurt the car or causes a crash it shouldn't void, but I want to know for sure. Thank you!

A BOV is considered to void the warranty, but you can also just remove it if you are afraid of Hyundai noticing it during any kind of work.
I don’t mind swapping back, only takes like 15 mins anyways.
I’m wondering, it doesn’t say too much on it..
Would a rear motor mount void any warranties?

Will not. I work for Hyundai, my service department changed mine. Don’t touch the turbo, wiring, or ECU and you’re good for 100k miles.
Thanks 🙏🏻

I have been wanting the ARK midpipe mainly to delete the resonator. The alternative is to have a shop cut out the resonator for far less money. The price difference is about $400. I know that exhaust modification doesn’t present a problem with the warranty, but do you think a cut out resonator with pipe welded back in would been a reason to void the warranty? I’m having trouble justifying the extra $400 when a machine shop can do it so cheap...

If it looks like shitty work, and effects the motor, it could. The document does say custom exhaust work isn't void worthy. Don't let them do a poor job. Vet your money before you spend it. Personally, would just spend the extra money.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. What you mod and what is related to it void that part of the warranty, not the whole warranty. I am paraphrasing. So an aftermarket BOV would likely void the warranty on your turbo, but not your engine. The dealer might not agree and I am NOT a lawyer by the way. The aftermarket rear sway bar on my Genesis Coupe would void the warranty on the end links, for example, but not the transmission or engine. I had dual catch cans on my coupe and that was never an issue. Neither were my rigid collars and rear sway bar. I used the "you touch it, you own it" attitude toward mods. Get a tune....you own the engine.
