A BOV is considered to void the warranty, but you can also just remove it if you are afraid of Hyundai noticing it during any kind of work.A BOV!? 😔
I don’t mind swapping back, only takes like 15 mins anyways.A BOV is considered to void the warranty, but you can also just remove it if you are afraid of Hyundai noticing it during any kind of work.
Will not. I work for Hyundai, my service department changed mine. Don’t touch the turbo, wiring, or ECU and you’re good for 100k miles.I don’t mind swapping back, only takes like 15 mins anyways.
I’m wondering, it doesn’t say too much on it..
Would a rear motor mount void any warranties?
Thanks 🙏🏻Will not. I work for Hyundai, my service department changed mine. Don’t touch the turbo, wiring, or ECU and you’re good for 100k miles.
Are you referring to the blow off valve, or the motor mount? Thank youWill not. I work for Hyundai, my service department changed mine. Don’t touch the turbo, wiring, or ECU and you’re good for 100k miles.
I have been wanting the ARK midpipe mainly to delete the resonator. The alternative is to have a shop cut out the resonator for far less money. The price difference is about $400. I know that exhaust modification doesn’t present a problem with the warranty, but do you think a cut out resonator with pipe welded back in would been a reason to void the warranty? I’m having trouble justifying the extra $400 when a machine shop can do it so cheap...Will not. I work for Hyundai, my service department changed mine. RMM. BOV expressly voids warranty, surpasses factory safety system. Are you referring to the blow off valve, or the motor mount? Thank you
If it looks like shitty work, and effects the motor, it could. The document does say custom exhaust work isn't void worthy. Don't let them do a poor job. Vet your money before you spend it.
