Has anyone installed a two channel dashcam yet? My last car wasn't a hatch so install of the cam in the rear was no problem. I've never installed a cam in a car w/ a hatch. Looks pretty straight forward but was wondering if there is anything I should look out for with the Veloster. Any help or advice is appreciated.

well i ave a cobra cdr895d and it has already saved me 7000.from one accident where i gor break checked in my 15 r-spec . i just ordered a cobra 2216d dual channel for my N it comes with a editing software package and has a better battery for the high heat in cars . i got it for 159.95 will get it soon got to cobra site and check them out .

I put my to the right of the rear view mirror in the back dead center the long cord to connect the rear to the front can be tucked along the side or under the seats . i used wire ties and the little square tie anchors to put the wire along the side of the hatch but when you tighten the wire ties to the anchors between the side of cabin and the hatch leave the hatch open it will leave a little of the wire hanging but will not mess up th wire when opening and closing the hatch. there are a few videos for installing the cams on you tube good for a few good ideas. have a good one .

So you didn't go through the rubber connection tube thing just let the wire go between the seals between the body and the hatch? I've seen videos of routing that way but I'd like to go hide everything I can.

What side of the car did you go and did you go up top or on the floor. Thanks I appreciate any help.

I used zip tie anchors its not the most attractive solution but it will do for now . i intend to insert the wire inside the door plastic covers but it will take a little time to do it and the connectore need to be pulled apart and re connected from time to time usually when the seasons change so i have left them out . i'll take a few pictures and post them in a couple of days so you can see how i have it set up . and i rarely have anyone in the car so it's not a bother.
