Hello, hope everyone is staying safe with their family and loved ones. During this quarantine, I designed a compressor inlet adapter to work with relatively smaller diameter aftermarket intakes. This component will promote further optimization of the intake modification. After discussing it with fellow enthusiasts, I have decided to give this a try and build a small batch of these adapters (limit to 50 units). The purpose of this project is two fold:
1)To give fellow enthusiast an option to add to their intake mod
2)To help my friend keep his machine shop open during these difficult times

The prototype has been completed and came back from hand polishing (see below). The production units will be anodized for durability and finish. The material is 6061 aluminum.

THANK YOU!!! ALL THE UNITS ARE ACCOUNTED FOR
Full kit is available now. SEE INSTALLED PHOTO BELOW!
Will work with aFe, AEM, Injen, Tork Motorsports, 10Fintec, ImpossibleFab, K&N, Gruppenzwang, OEM intake and N Performance intake

Two colors available: Crimson Red & Purple Reign

Red Product Plastic Tableware

So I have been running mine now 2 weeks, I would have posted up earlier but had a dam disaster strike work and am reeling to recover. But I wanted to get in here and post up my findings on the Yames inlet adapter. The sound of of the turbo is much increased, butt dyno can feel a difference. But what I really like is the great support more so on a small yield product such as this. He keeps good communication on shipping and installation. And further more he is already making improvement to the kits. This is great service and a great product. Worst part of the install is the bolt under the factory elbow holding the harness. It took more time to recover the 10MM wrench I dropped behind the engine than the entire install otherwise. Keep up the outstanding work Yames and be safe out there Sir.

I know for sure my restriction in my setup is now exhaust as I have done everything to the intake side of the car, but this is to be remedied soon.

Thank you for your review of the kit, deeply appreciate it. Also very happy that it is part of your Veloster N build. Will definitely keep you posted on the upcoming projects for the VN. Did you get that DP in there yet? All the best and take care out there!

Just installed Yames' turbo inlet adapter. Less lag, quicker boost, better/instant acceleration - pulls like NA but with turbo powah!

My other mods are Injen Intake, Boomba rear motor mount, and Turbo Tech Racing upper motor mount. Stock downpipe/midpipe/exhaust :-(

Installation was easy. The only hard time I had was getting that bottom rear bolt out (see picture) where the hose was in the way...and when installing back the adapter screw I dropped the damn thing which took me about 20 minutes looking for it (I would place a towel underneath it to catch anything that falls). Also, I recommend applying thin oil on the inside of the silicone hose for ease of installation, aligning, and adjusting the pipe before clamping it down (this silicone hose got some good grip, you need to oil it).

Overall I am happy with this product. A must upgrade in my opinion.
