Turbo Tech Racing has just released a new upper right & lower mount for the Veloster N. Both units make an excellent combination to reduce wheel hop and engine torque. The prototype is finished and mounted. They'll begin full production quite soon.

The amount of flex from the OEM UPR mount is considerable and flexes in all directions as you can see in the photos. So, it's no wonder the VN has a wheel hop issue. The Upper Right Motor Mount sells for $225.00 and worth every penny. The Lower Motor Mount sells for $195. https://www.turbotechracing.com/productcart/pc/viewCategories.asp?

The Lower motor mount unlike others uses a square bushing that reduces the back/forth movement associate with torque from the VN. It allows minimal up/down movement which contributes to a vst reduction in overall engine movement. The OEM unit allows significant movement in all directions, which translates to; extensive engine movement and wheel hop under acceleration. Now the VN stays planted from hard starts and thru acceleration. Which transfers more power to the ground.

Durometer range for the lower mount is 75A, if you're interested. With the combination of both upper and lower Turbo Tech Motor Mounts, power deliver is excellent and wheel hop is non-existent.

Late to the party, but I’m interested in the trans mounts, as long as they fit in my DCT!
Thank you for your input it’s appreciated.😃👍🇺🇸
Give me a bit I’ll have to look for them. I can’t remember off the top of my head. You’ll need to retorted after 250-500 miles.
Did you ever get these torque specs? Going to retorque mine in the morning.
I believe they’re listed in his thread or the reference thread from the n-cars.net forum thread.👍🇺🇸

Wasn't sure which of the TTR motor mount threads to ask on, but does anyone know if the TTR upper mount will have any clearance issues with the Forge Dual Catch can/coolant reservoir?
No it fits just fine. Refer to the primary discussion with the photos of the Forge Dual Catch Can/reservoir. This will demonstrate it fit. I worked directly with Forge Motorsport on the prototype development. You can see the fit here and

Hi there Red. Much appreciated. I missed the comment on the clearance when reading through the post about the catch can install. Will probably install both together now, since they are in the same relative space. Time to shop for a torque wrench. Any suggestions? Thanks

Your welcome! Amazon has a digital;

Both will be sufficient for anything you require. The larger is needed for the large bolt and nut at the center of the upper mount.👍🇺🇸

It's Nov 8th 2022

I have owned a 22 VN for 15 months and driven 48,000KM

I've had TTR motor mounts on the car since month 7. I am in love with them utterly.

I came here to state that if the 3rd mount is made. My car is getting it. And my wife's 22 EN DCT would be getting the 3 mount touch.

Absolutely love these mounts.

I do apologize for the misunderstanding though

The nvh is nonexistent given what I've already done and I love the feel. I definitely need to buy a set for the wife's dct.

She won't know till they're in. Muahaha!!

If you haven't yet, try posting in KDMO on fb for a soft query into VN/KN/EN owners looking to up their road feel.

I feel as if the KN is getting slept on and could do with a tight engine mount. They all do.

The lope these engines did at start up was crazy
No worries, I understood.👍🇺🇸
Does anyone know if the TTR upper motor mount will fit an Elantra N?
A comparison between OEM part numbers will tell the tale.👍🇺🇸

Thanks, I'll look into that. I unexpectedly may have an opportunity to trade into an Elantra N. I'm just curious how many of my aftermarket parts will fit it directly. I just spent almost a thousand dollars on an intercooler last month, and almost $600 on intake stuff this month. So understandably, I'm a little worried about compatibility.
