So does anyone know where I could get a tune from, I’m planning on purchasing the jb4 and want to get a tune since I’m going to have pretty much full bolt-ons. And also I know there is another thread discussing this but I’d like to see some new responses being that that thread is about 2months old, which would you guys recommend lap3 or jb4???

Jb4 is the way to go because it gives you the option to do w custom tune.
Lap 3 i believe is capable of more power but its not a pleasant experience from what i hear. I recently got a jb4 and map 1 alone changes the car into a monster. I feared for my life in the brief time i spent testing map 2. Definitely fun, but be mindful of the precautions you need to take such as colder spark plugs. They didnt work out for me so im using stock plugs with a tighter gap, which shouldn't be an issue considering i leave it in map 0 (jb4 off) most of the time and i only really use map 1 (2 or 3 more psi i think) for fun. I would like to learn to get into the whole custom tuning because thats how you can really bring out the best of the car (or blow it up) and utilize your mods

If you just want something to plug in and go, i recommend buying a spare ecu tuned by sxth element.

AND MAKE SURE YOU USE premium 93 fuel

So do you tune it yourself or do you send lap 3 logs and they do it remotely ? I think I read something about the rev 6 being this way and it was really intriguing.
The tunes are already installed in the Protuner unit. You just select the tune based on fuel i.e 91/93/ Meth and it does the rest. It also has a tune that is user adjustable but I figure they know more than I do so I don’t mess with it. The Meth kit is controlled by the Protuner so it all works in harmony. I upgraded the Bluetooth to the 2.5 version so I can use it in my iPhone to record logs and see the gauges in real time.

Yes. With the new 2.5 version they updated the Bluetooth to work with iPhones, which is what I have. For everyone like me that had the V2 Lap3 upgraded the Bluetooth module to 2.5 for free. I bought a cheap android tablet to use before they had the iPhone capability. The only thing that sucks is the app is like ~$20 in the App Store.

Hmm I’ll definitely look into it now they have this as an option
