They got the exhaust wrong. The valve has nothing to do with pops, the base model pops too. It's the change in the tune.

I haven't read about the VN twin scroll turbo specifically. But the way I understand they work is that there's 2 turbines that are driven by 2 cylinders each. Each turbine is a different size. One bigger for high end, one smaller to minimize lag. They drive 2 different compressors. It has nothing to do with maximizing exhaust pulses, that's what a turbo header (rams Head) does. I think Donut needs to do some more homework
