I'm not really sure what's going on but it seems my car will start in Normal mode and I always have to switch it back to N mode or N Custom. Sometimes it seems to start in N mode and go into Normal within a few seconds.

I've never actually driven in Normal mode yet so it would be nice to just have it start in N mode all the time.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this?
Is there any way for it to always just start in N mode?

There is no way that I've heard or seen where this car is supposed to start in N mode. I believe it is designed to start in normal mode for a reason. I can't speak to the fact that yours starts in N mode briefly before swapping to normal mode, but it is a standard function for it to boot up in normal mode. I personally drive my car in normal mode until she warms up, then I will put her in my custom mode. I don't want to risk extra wear on my vehicle.

I think it is actually good that they start up in Normal Mode with no Rev Match. It is likely by design, as I think it is easier on the engine until it is warmed up sufficiently. I wait until oil is nearly up to temp before going in to N Modes and Rev Match.

I'll switch to N mode or N Custom mode to warm up the car. The rpms go up a few hundred at idle vs. normal mode. More rpm's equals more heat generation so I figure the car will warm up quicker. Haven't actually proven this yet, but makes sense in theory. Mine always starts in N mode like its suppose to do, but when its a little chilly out, say like 40 F outside it will sound like its in N mode when you first start it for a few seconds then it gets quiet. But when I switch it to N mode the exhaust note deepens.

Doesn’t exist and can’t be done.
I hear ya... but I've seen the post/thread/something that explained step by step how to do it. It wasn't a custom function in the menu.. was something about doing X then turning car off yada yada.. kinda like when you do an ECU reset. I just didn't care enough to make it happen since its only two button pushes but a new EN owner is asking so I'm looking.

Press the start button twice without the clutch pushed in and then put it in N mode press start again with clutch pushed in and it will start in n mode. At least mine does. I always start it in Normal mode but I was messing around a few times and started it in N mode. Hope this helps?

Best regards,

-Mike
