Hello all i have been searching for a spare for my N i have the non PP i found a spare for the 2014 to 2016 kia cadenza which has a 135 80 17 space saver spare . i got one off ebay and tried it on my car and it fits great. I don't know if it will fit the performance package model or not but it does fit the non PP . just wanted to let you all know if you are searching for a spare . i am one of the type guys who must have one , really hated the fact that Hyundai may not have a spare kit for a while .it fits in the space just fine also.

My 2015 Genesis Coupe had an 18" alloy compact spare.
Stock front tire size was 225/40/19, so the overall outside diameter should be close.
Guess you would also need the jack and tool kit.
i looked up the bolt pattern and bore size and both are the same 5 x 114.3 and 67.1 so it whould work . but was it a space saver size tire . that would be 125 80 18 or something like that. the depth of the space in the trunk is only about 5 inches deep so it requires a skinny tire and rim i was using a site wheel-size.com to find critical info to find a usable so if you are wondering about rims off other cars and fitment use the site it gives a lot of information necessary to get a correct size space saver tire .

Yes it was a compact spare or space saver, skinny temporary use.
I remember it was inflated to something like 60psi.

I was told that the compact spare will not fit the N by my dealership Bentley Hyundai Huntsville Al. that is why i posted the info i had. i fitted a 17 in factory rim on my N and it was tight but worked. so the PP with the 19 in rims has a larger front disk 13.8 front vs my 13 front which would have taken up all the available space with a 17 in rim. Fob...e tells me a 12 genesis coupe has a 19 in space saver spare which has a alloy rim so that would be a possible fit for the PP .

That was actually a 2015 Gen Coupe GT with the Brembo brakes. The space saver spare from which would definitely fit the pp.

This is what I did.... I purchased some tire plugs and a reamer kit. I went and bought a scissor jack form an 06 Elantra that fits our pinch welds. It came with a 21mm tire iron and a quick lift handle for 45 bucks off of e-Bay. The tools and the jack fit in the Styrofoam holders in the trunk. The car comes with a compressor so this is pretty much a permanent repair and you can still ride on the original tire if the sidewall is not torn.

If that works for you then it is good. my self i have had a few to many times in the past where i had a tire blow or a sidewall damaged and needed that spare tire. it is like a secure bit that i want there just in case i need it . i don't like to be towed so i hope you never have to need it and best of luck.

I agree, a spare tire is a much better solution. I was just giving another option in case no one wanted to spend big money on a spare tire. I also do not want to put that sealant Hyundai gives you to seal the tire. I agree though, a spare is a better option.

Best regards,
