Am I the only one still waiting for the veloster N with PP to arrive at the dealership? I told the salesman that I'm looking for the performance blue with the PP and I've been waiting since June and still no word. He told me it's a limited production and I've called 4 other dealership and told me the same thing... Theres only veloster N around my area with the non performance package in a 250 mile raduis... My salesman told me they wont charge me over msrp and no need to put down payment or put my name on the waiting list because I'm the only customer that required this car and no one else has ever asked about it. It's so fustrating because why would Hyundai introduce the N model to us and doesn't even make production on time and I can't even custom order it  Im starting to move my interest in the 370z now... I hope someone can share the same experience as me or give me any news of whats going on. Ive been reading that the 2020 models are coming out already! by the way I'm in SoCal. Thanks guys apperciate it!

Wow! This sucks man! Sorry to hear... I know the PP VNs were sparse around me but my dealer just said "we will find one and get it here for you" and they did. I'm in CT and they got it in RI so not too far but still none were available in state.

Hope you can get it worked out! These cars are too much fun to pass up!

yeah, still waiting unfortunately... there's like 12 velosters around my area that are non performance package and no one is buying them. I told my salesman, once they locate a vin number and its coming to their dealership, I will call in sick at work and wait all day at the dealership and buy it the same day it arrives. I don't my car to be in the showroom or the mechanics reving and stalling on the car I want. I dont think I want them to even wash the car because I know hyundai dont hand wash their cars. I'm going to get it paint correction first then I will get full front end clear bra  but I will keep you guys updated.

I'm not sure how accurate that is but I brought my car to get an alignment last Thursday and the Manager on duty said the same thing. His dealer only orders them without the PP. I had to go to a different state to get one with the PP. I bought the only PP VN in two states so it very well may be correct. I'm not saying it is though. If you have to wait, get one with the PP. It is so worth it!!! All the extras for 2100 bucks. If you can afford it, get it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Best regards,

-Mike

I to wanted a blue with the PP and am in SoCal (San Diego). I deployed in March and was scared there would be none left when I return in Nov so I bought the only local one two days before I left and paid a 2k markup.

And thank you for your service *salutes*. You are obviously tougher than me given what your pre-deployment scares were based on.

Do they not offer military service discounts in the states that would obliterate the markup? I don't live in the States but my friend is a captain up here and he always specifically inquires about this and to my knowledge has never failed to find one at a car dealership.

Thank you. Where are you? CA? They did have a mil discount of $500 but the mark up was $2500. They threw in the already installed Lo-Jack. The dealer also said they could not order more, they got mine because another dealer turned it down and every dealer in SoCal had a markup, at least in March and my time was limited. I was not sure there would be a 2020 model. I had a Mazdaspeed3 I really liked before I moved to Japan in 2015 but Mazda decided to be mature now, that is how I found the N. Not sure why they would offer the N without the PP, just my opinion.

LoJack. The car comes with Bluelink standard which is basically a lojack. You can see your cars location anytime you want thru the app. You can do a lot of things actually. All sorts of alerts. So if the Dealership said it Lojack and was going to charge for it.. I would have been **** no...ha. But glad you got one!!! Welcome to the Family!

I think that is why they gave it to me. Easier than uninstalling and I am a pain in the ass. Either way I was buying the car, just attempted to protest the mark up.

Where did you get that number? I think it would be a little higher than that just based on how many of us on the forums have one.
Not really, some states got more than others. It might be but there are no real numbers released, except for Canada and it was 200. So it's reasonable to say, + or - 200 PP for the US as well. I think at one time you could go to one of the Cargurus listing websites and count the number that were for sale across the US. It was very near this number.

Now that the 2020's are out with the PP, Hyundai should be able to bring up total sales numbers on the total number sold in the US for the 2019 models. And even break them down by color and what state. Just need to find a cool GM at a Hyundai Dealer willing to press corporate for those numbers. Anybody have any contacts other than a sales person who didnt make crap on the sale of the car?

Vape420, I just picked up a new 2020 VN with PP at Harbor Hyundai in Long Beach, CA. Some 2020's have arrived and if you are using the Hyundai Find Inventory Page they will not show up. Use something else like cars.com. Anyway, I may have gotten a bit lucky as they had received 2 in PB with the PP just days ago. Other dealers in SoCal also have 1 or so right now.
