SECO vs OEM clutches - weight comparison

Decided to weigh both of these on my bathroom scale. Do keep in mind that this is the SECO stage 1 kit.

OEM - 38.0 lbs
Seco -30.6 lbs

Weighed the flywheels alone and this is what I got.

OEM flywheel - 24.6
SECO flywheel - 13.6

The SECO pressure plate weighed in at 12.6 lbs but the OEM didn't activate the scale at all so it was probably less than 12 lbs (scale activates at 12 lbs and above I guess). Don't even have to tell you which clutch disc is lighter as the SECO one has springs and the OEM one doesn't.

Yeah, that’s interesting. I like the reduced rev hang that a lighter flywheel gives, but in the case of the twin plate clutch from xclutch it’s super light and makes getting into gear a bit tricky. But I like the clutch I’ve got currently.
Xclutch flywheel: (guess if I measured the flywheel alone I’ve lost the measurement)
Xclutch total: 20.525 lbs
My OEM clutch: 37.775 lbs
