Same size. 235/35 R19 Just the Perelli winter version (studless). Seems crazy that the sensors are so sensitive to just a tiny change.

This is interesting, if the information you gave is correct seems that side wall or wheel size does not matter. Its something to do with All-seasons or Winter tires. My winters are stock size tires on the stock wheels, with stock suspension. Just drove to the shop on the summers at about 4 deg C, no issues. Drove away on the winter tires, problem is back again. My summer wheels are 235/40-18.
I hope thats not true and a fix is coming. There was a fix released in Canada, don't know why its not here in the States as well. Maybe they tried it there and it failed so they are back to the drawing board. It got me today!
I’m from NYC so I need an all season. I put on Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires
Right side BSM malfunctioned immediately.
Fortunately I’m 40 so I remember a time without BSM.
Will just go without since it looks like an official fix will never come.
I doubt they tried it here because when I showed the dealer the TSB from Canada they said it must make it first to the US before they do anything. Since Hyundai ended production I doubt they're doing much at the corporate level, at the dealership level I doubt anyone has done any testing.I hope thats not true and a fix is coming. I see. Its odd they have to wait until we get it done here in US before they do anything for your car in Canada. I wish this wasn't the case, I have an S5 Sportback and a Rivian R1T, this Veloster is still my favorite car! Just trying to realistic with expectations.
I dont know why its not released in the US then.My dealer did the TSB update and the problem is resolved.
Maybe we need to make an organized call to Hyundai corporate to push them to release the TSB in the US.I dont know why its not released in the US then.![]()
I just got off the phone with an attorney and there is a Maryland Class action law suite open. I am going to pursue that. I think Hyundai only listens to law suits rather then their customers. I would recommend you contact them and do the same. Maryland Bar.Maybe we need to make an organized call to Hyundai corporate to push them to release the TSB in the US.
I doubt they'll seriously listen to the one-off caller here and there.
Totally understand, but maybe we can organize a group call to Hyundai corporate. This will also be documented as a communication attempt before any real lawsuits.I just got off the phone with

Edit: I didnt want to go this route. But this is getting ridiculous and I want the features I paid a pretty penny for.
I am down for anything at this moment. We can do that as well.Totally understand, but maybe we can organize a group call to Hyundai corporate. This will also be documented as a communication attempt before any real lawsuits.
Can you clarify what brand and model tires you are using and are you now seeing excessive BSD false positives? Not sure I understand your original post.Wanted to add. 235/35 R19.
Stock rims
Stock suspension
Tires have no vibration, excess noise etc. Definitely not an issue with the tires.
Will be stock for life.
As an aside, these tires are way more efficient than the Pirelli. Changed my oil at the same time. Mobil 1 0w-30 AFE.
Just filled the car for the journey north from FL to NYC on Monday. Saw 443 miles to empty. Awesome number. Never seen it above 414.
I include the efficiency report to confirm no issues with anything anywhere else with the car.
Maybe that TSB will come.

Yup, same exact tire on stock rims, same issues.Apologies.
I had posted in the thread yesterday or the day before and for some reason it didn’t quote.
I’m using Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires. 800 miles on them now, still the same Blind Spot Monitoring issue. Right side light either stays on once the system is on, or stays on once something is detected.
Left side has no issue.
Same measurements as the stock Pirelli’s. 235/35/R19
Already did that a while ago. I cant believe there isn't more people complaining. Seems that people are driving around with their summer tires on during winter or drive a winter car and parked their VN for the warmer weather.Contact NHTSA and file a consumer complaint report. The more that do, the more likely they’ll have to issue a TSB.👍🇺🇸
