If you haven't heard of us before, we are an aftermarket automotive parts manufacturer located in Wood Dale, Illinois (Just outside of Chicago). We do all of our own R&D, Machining, Assembly, and Testing right here in our facility! We've been around since 03 under our own name, and prior to that, we made car parts for other companies. We specialize in BOV's, Short Shifters, Motor Mounts, Throttle Bodies, and more! Right now we are in the process of testing our rear motor mount for the Veloster! We've written a blog post on our website, showing all that goes into making the best motor mount on the market! Check it out HERE:

The quest for traction, Veloster N rear motor mount R&D - Boomba Racing, Inc.

If you guys have any questions, fire away!

I used to own a Ford Fusion with the 2.0L turbo motor and used a bunch of your stuff. Are you going to make a manifold spacer and throttle body spacer for this car too?

Also, will there be a choice in bushing stiffness/ softness with your new motor mount? And will it be cheaper than the Sixth Element piece? The cheapest I saw that lower motor mount was $189.99. I hope yours is much less expensive? Thanks for making some new products for this car. If you want any input?... A less expensive FMIC than whats out there would be nice. Some suspension rigid collars specifically for the N would be cool too. It looks like you can easily make those from the looks of that lower motor mount. How about a new intake that has the filter housed in it's own box? A vented oil cap? 1 heat range lower factory spark plugs? Anyway, thank you for what you do?

Best regards,

-Mike

Hey Mike! We may offer this in different stiffness's but on the Veloster, we found an 80 durometer bushing works perfectly to calm wheel hop without compromising daily drivability. You can expect this motor mount to be priced very competitively compared to what is out there, with no compromise to quality(the boomba way!) I can't give up all of our secrets, but we plan on fully supporting this platform like we did with the Focus ST, Fiesta ST and Focus RS

Wheel hop happens when you spin the tires. I don't get any since I don't beat on my car. I just like the way a firmer bushing feels and it makes the car shift a lot smoother. Not much bucking after new firmer bushings are installed. There will be a little more vibration through the wheel when first installed but that goes away after about 200 miles when they break in a bit. Hope this helps you.

Mike explained it perfectly! A motor mount can make the car as a whole feel much more rigid. We have a bunch more coming, so stay tuned!

I will do that! And if you PM me with your order number once you place it, I'll make sure some extras find their way into your box :)
