Thanks mate, much appreciated.👍🇺🇸Its for the 21 and 22. I downloaded it for my 21 and loading it now. I don’t get a progress bar, I only get the rotating arrows in the top right of the screen. I did chose to download in the background and this will be the first time I’ve upgraded the s/w on my 21 VN DCT.
The update took about 2 hours to finish. If you have a garage, not a big deal. But if you park outside, it could be since the car needs to be idling for it to finish. And the car beeps annoyingly loud when the key is not inside. Plan ahead.
As far as the update goes, it gives us additional stuff, but also takes away. It also looks much like the EN and KN screen. Namely, it takes away 'Race Mode' in the N screen. I'm going to miss seeing the huge numerical value of whatever parameters I set(like oil and water temp). Incredibly useful for the track. Now, we get 3 smaller programmable gauges. I set mine to oil temp, water temp, and boost pressure. The bigger boxes on the first screen can only be replaced with other big box options, which sucks. I was hoping to put meaningful parameters on the big boxes while the smaller boxes would be set to less important parameters. But it is what it is.
If you swipe left, there's another screen. It's where the customization for N Custom mode is housed, as well as shortcuts for launch control and shift light. As with the first page, you can change the boxes out for others, but it's much more limited than the first page. You can now also set a graph on the second page, which takes your info in real time and presents it to you via that screen, even while driving. In the old version, the graphs would turn off as soon as you drive, but whatever graph you choose will stay on in the 2nd screen regardless. I chose the power graph.
The historical 'data logging' graphs still remain. Click on one of the digital gauges and it'll take you to the familiar graph screen. But they added throttle position and brake pressure as well. Not super useful for me. I was hoping oil pressure would be added, but I don't think the VN even has an oil pressure sensor, so that's an impossibility. The spider graph is gone and replaced with what the E/KN has. There's also a new 'Circuit' page, which I assume automatically takes your lap times via GPS when you're in said track. But only the big, famous tracks are loaded. I'm unsure if any more will be. Unless you go to these tracks often, it's a useless feature. And even then, you'd probably be better off with a real lap timer via hardware(like Garmin Catalyst) or phone app(Harry's Lap Timer).
All in all, it's an update. A big update. That adds and takes away. I'm going to miss the 'Race Mode' screen as I find that much more useful. If I could do it again, would I update? No. Because I really like the 'Race Mode' screen for track days. Choose wisely.
Below are pictures of the new screens, to help you in deciding to update or not.
Do you loose the drive-style customization web? Here's the first page. To me, what can be set on the big boxes are rather useless. But I figure I may as well put in the G-meter and the N logo looks pretty cool. I'd rather have had actual, important information in the big boxes though.

Here's what page 2 looks like now. I should add that parameters from the first and second page aren't interchangeable aside form the G-meter and N Custom screen. Unfortunate wasted opportunity.

And lastly, you can change these boxes out by tapping and holding any of the boxes on screen or tapping the 3 horizontal lines on the upper left, and choosing to edit widgets.
Yes. He said it here:Do you loose the drive-style customization web?

Mine has been updating for about 1:45 minutes as of now. Praying it finishes soon or I’ll have stayed up and wasted all my gas for nothing
