Hi all,

I have a hypothetical question for you all.

Just need a poll to see if you guys would buy for the same price as other Veloster Ns a 2020 Veloster N with 1300 miles that had a new engine put in it under warranty. Some other work may have been done to it as well but mainly the new engine was replaced.

If you saw the Carfax and it stated a new engine was placed into the car would this affect your decision to buy it at the same price as other used Veloster Ns that did not have an engine swap? Would you even buy it at all? If you did still want to purchase it would you want a nice discount because of the engine swap?

I'm not selling just need this information.

Thanks for the help!

Once the original engine has been replaced it'll never be the same.

Do you know why the engine was replaced? There's a reason and it's either been beat to **** in a very short time or it was in in am accident and not reported to insurance. I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole

Seeing elsewhere what people are doing to these cars and adding to the fuel like octane boosters (MMT) and just plain driving abuse. I would never buy one of these used, the replaced motor (with no back story) would make it even worse. I feel for you, knowing your story and the history here, you had nothing to do with it and it already has "potential" diminished value.
