Okay, I have searched for a bit and hopefully come Saturday I will be installing my plugs and piggyback. Here is the thing. What do you gap the plug to? The number is as random as something I roll tossing the dice out of the Yahtzee cup.

I have seen people say 0.022, 0.026. The manual shows 0.0275-0.0314. Curious what others have started at?

Mods list:
2020 PP N
AFE intake
Forge FMIC
velossatech snorkel
AFE scorcher
HKS M45XL plugs (hence the question)

Soon to have AFE downpipe (they say its shipping the 19th), and I am debating ordering the ARK midpipe until I find a catback I like.

Environment.. 4200ft dry old Salt Lake City Utah, 91 octane since 93 is not available here.

The red "race" setting on the Scorcher is meant for 93. Just an FYI... I think the HKS come gapped at either .025 or .026, ICR. I just left them. No foul outs and the car runs great. No complaints. I would just use a feeler gauge and see where each one is at. If they are all the same at .025 or .026 then just put them in the car. The torque for the plugs are 23.6 ft lbs. I just did mine at 25 ft lbs since I am not gonna guess. Everything is fine.... Good luck with whatever you decide.

And the Ark mid pipe does look really nice. :)

Thanks ghost and understand the race mode. There is always debate to that at high Altitude due to lower atmospheric pressure aur density. But back when I had my dsm with cats I would occasionally run av gas with marvel mystery oil for lube. I am mainly going to raceplus. But thanks for the heads up brother.

Well, mine were gapped at 0.030 so I took them down to 0.025, my smaller 3/8 drive torque wrench adjusts in 0.5lb increments from 10 up to 100 ft-lbs, so I got them in at 23.5ft-lbs. Install for the plugs was 20 minutes if that. As for the scorcher. Just removing the upper recirc line on the AFE intake I was able to easily reach the TMAP sensor, so I got the under engine part installed in 15 minutes and zip tied in nicely. Then I looked around at controller install placement and finished it up. Bottom line, there is a difference! Holy hell, best $340 performance mod so far.

Then I came in and spent a little coin and socal garage works. Picked up a appearance pieces. Carbon mirror covers and OEM looking carbon rear spoiler as I am not a fan of the wings on the performance center one. And great news, there was a sale so my wallet is not feeling it as bad. The mirror covers were instock and already shipped, the spoiler says 3-6 weeks from overseas with a covid possible delay.

Thanks guys for your help! Hopefully this thread helps others in the future. Be safe out there this weekend.

Yup yup, last night we went to a friends house where their twins were turning 16. And on the way there and back I got nasty on throttle a few times. The first time my girl looks over and her face said it all. Jeebus she liked it. Her boss drives a 14 Jag Ftype V6S and has been begging for a line up. She said when I first her Vanellope that there was no way she would stand a chance.. fast forward 3 months. She said that she would take it. I think she is amazed that a few K into a sub 30K car give her the feeling that a 90K car did. True his Ftype is 6 years old but still at near 1/3 the cost, these are still potent little cars. Had quite a few at Cars and coffee ask about the N this morning. They are seeing it out there and like it A LOT.

There is a reason Porsche guys like this car. Was driving by a 911 GTS the other day and he gave me a thumbs up. That Scorcher really transforms this car. I can't wait for my down pipe now. That will tie it all together. Here take a look at this....

Best regards,
