Finally installed my Takeda intake so I have no need for the Pipercross filter anymore. It’s a nice mod to the car if you have the stock intake. The filter has about 5,000 miles on it. I already cleaned it up and mildly blew out any debris with an air compressor. Comes in original box with instructions and Pipercross sticker. $50 shipped.

Yeah, the filter media is foam and the part that connects to the inlet pipe is rubber.

Is there a difference in sound with this filter?

No, this will not change the sound since the intake is a closed system. If you want more sound, take off the top of the intake box.
