Anyone running a VN with an oil cooler? I've seen a few posts where people mention higher oil temperatures after a hard run, and I saw that Hyundai specifies an aftermarket oil cooler will not void the warranty by simply existing on the car (assuming that it's properly installed not spraying oil all over).

If so, any pictures of installation? Pros? Cons?

A proper radiator mounted oil cooler will work wonders, the coolant cooled oil coolers only do so much, im getting over 210 on the street which makes me not trust it for the track..i will be upgrading mine.

Airtec and Forge make one. Expensive though. 400 to 600 bucks. I want one but don't know if I want to spend the money....

You want your oil to get to at least 212 to burn off water and deposits. A modern, quality, synthetic oil can withstand temps of 300+. I typically see 250-260 on track and have no concerns.

Just curious are you tuned? I can live with 250 or 260 for a couple days before an oil change... I'm just thinking it wont be adequate for the additional load.

Tuned and running WMI, I just stay on top of the services on the car and make sure to change fluids frequently. I had a test done by oil analyzers after 3k that included two track days and two autocross events and they said I could technically run it longer, but I'm not going to.
