Hey all, my name is Kyle,and im from Toronto,Ontario as i saw another member is also. I currently drive a '12 non turbo. I just wanted to know of anyone shares similar feelings with me about the new gen of velosters, specifically the N. I believe that the hood on the "older" generation looks more agressive with the 2 fake vents vs the new hood with nothing. Anyone feel like the N should have an aggressive hood like a genesis? Thanks guys im looking forward to my local dealer getting an N in and seeing if i can upgrade.

Hey Kyle! I’m the Toronto guy. I know what you mean about the vents on the hood, but I gotta say, most plastic add on stuff is regarded as fluff by serious car guys and the automotive press. They’ve all been making fun of some of the add on bits on the Kia Stinger for example.
I think Hyundai exhibited a lot of restraint in the design, look at the Civic Type R, I honestly think Honda went way overboard. I get a lot of compliments on this car 🙂
Hope you get to test drive one, they have very little in common with the old design.

Hello ! I own an N in Mississauga ! I love the styling I'm glad it's not anymore aggressive and happy that Hyundai didn't put the fake vents In the hood like what they did with the older generation Veloster turbo .. The Type R is way way to much . I have gotten alot of compliments on the styling of the N .
