Sweet looking buggy! Really like the wing. So how does the new motor mount feel? Thanks for all the videos by the way.

Thanks and no problem! I really love both motor mounts! Definitely got more noise (not much) when I added the upper motor mount but it’s worth it in my opinion :) you can always turn up your radio if you don’t like the added noise and you won’t even notice it lol, it didn’t get any crazy added vibrations and the car just overall feels more raw. Im still able to daily drive it no problems, I love it!

what kind of noise, just ambient engine noises? i only have a purple powerflex and the car vibrates in normal mode with AC but not in n mode lol. so vibrations are still there just not bad ?

Yea just like more engine noise but it’s really not bad, you really only notice on idle but like it’s nothing crazy, you won’t be able to hear it through video recording but you’ll tell after you install it. I got used to it already and it doesn’t bother me at all. I first had the Boomba RMM by itself and the vibrations were worse with just the RMM and they got better (less vibrations) when i installed the Upper motor mount

Interesting. Im planning on getting the set
Yea you’ll love it! Like I said you can definitely daily drive it still it’s nothing crazy on the added NVH. I’m not sure how the bushings feel but if they’re similar to the whole rear motor mount replacements then you won’t mind the upper motor mount, definitely worth it!

only concern is supporting the engine with the jack, and tightening the nut through the wheel well. thats going to be interesting 😁
Yea it’s a lot easier if you have a second hand, one to hold the wrench while you torque :) other than that it’s pretty straight forward and easy :)

I just got my TTR upper in today. It's white just like my car. I also have the purple powerflex mounts. I don't care about noise but I do care about vibrations. I am hoping I have no vibrations. I don't have any vibrations with the purple mounts. I think this should make a good combo. I would think any additional noises and vibrations would go away after about 1000 miles or so. I had the Boomba RMM but I could never get rid of the 1200 rpm shudder at take off so I sold it. Other than that I liked it. I will put this in sometime next week if the weather isn't too bad.

With just the purple bushings you have no vibrations but do you still have wheel hop?

The wheel hop is marginal but is still there a very slight bit. No where near what the factory ones do.... Not even close...

@Ghost, yea I had that little vibration also with just the boomba RMM and it definitely reduced the vibration after installing the upper motor mount! And I mean I got used to the added NVH after about a week/100 miles of driving it and don’t mind it at all. I’ve always liked the feeling of cars when they’re not too comfortable you get me? Haha Also absolutely no wheel hop with the 2 mount setup, i floored it in first and no wheel hop :)
