No I didn’t have them powder coated...it was just an experiment!
I had some premium black vynal that I made a templet to cover the brushes aluminum part. I only did one side to see what it would look like. I removed the vynal after I took the pictures.
I dig the all black wheel look, but I have to save up some coins before I take the plunge on powder coating.
Cool, I've seen the powder coated wheels in black and I do like them. There is also a vendor oneBay that has black overlay Hyundai emblems also. I've though about doing this also.
I am currently running Satin black 18" Fast Wheels Switch wheels for my winter tires on my Chalk White VN. It made me realize I like the all black wheel look better than the factory 2 tone. I thought so even more after seeing your experiment here.
