Has anyone experienced the lap3 tuner very Hot to the touch? I was showing someone under the hood the other night and put my hand on it and i would compare it to a 55 watt hid ballast temperature. Basically pretty dam hot! Im gonna call lap 3 but i just wanted to see if any of you had that going on? The tune works perfectly as advertised beast mode. The surface it is mounted too is not nearly as hot as the unit itself.

I have not noticed that in mine though when I go out driving tomorrow I’ll pay attention to it and give you an update. Where exactly did you mount yours? And what’s the temperature outside?

After driving pretty hard for an hour or so I checked my tuner and it was cool to the touch, mine is placed on top of the intake box. Outside temp is in the mid 60s F.
