So my car got dropped off Monday at injen and will be getting it tomorrow with their prototype intake for the VN. If anyone was looking for another option for an intake injen will have it soon

Great question. A closed box design has a lot of merit and would be a great choice over the stock airbox with an upgraded filter (k&n, piperbox)

it will be a closed box design. the box has been sent out to be made. should have it within 2 weeks.

have been told pricing should be sub $300

No actually, Injen are dragging their feet with it, even after SEMA. So is aFe Takeda, which is supposed to be a closed box but yet to be seen even a prototype.

As of now the Injen is not closed box, it has a heat shield with a hood seal but not closed box.

Bummer. Seeing all of these aftermarket mods for the supra and barely anything for the VN is driving me bonkers.

Yep, the Supra is nothing but an overworked BMW Coupe. Really disappointing, considering the time it took Toyota to collaborate with BMW.

They have the top rated and voted Sport Car of the Year (Veloster N) to work with but are pretty much ignoring it.

Toyota/Lexus RCF is a far more advanced car with much better handling and performance. This was our last car, with Sport Package. Lexus has their stuff together with this model. Toyota, not so much with the Supra. It's about like a little pop, instead of a big bang! The RCF is a big bang for the buck.
