I saw a news article today that includes all model years of the Veloster N concerning a HPFP recall. The story said that there would be a software update for the ECU and the pump would be inspected and replaced if necessary. It said the notices would start to go out in mid-September. We shall see.

Just got a notice in the mail today for my 2022 VN DCT in Canada. No fix as of yet when I looked up my VIN.

Description
Issue: On certain vehicles, the high-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough and the check engine light may turn on. This could also cause a sudden loss of engine power while driving.
Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions: Hyundai Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the engine control module software. The high-pressure fuel pump will be replaced, if necessary.
