Kelley Blue Book just posted up a comparison video between the VN and CTR. While I doubt that anyone looking for a hot hatch cares about fuel economy, I do wonder what we will see in terms of depreciation.

Resale value of the Veloster N will be of concern. As people dig deeper they'll see how much parts big digging was done, among many other factors.

Newer Hyundai models don't depreciate as quickly as older ones did. I think both these cars are compelling in their own way and its going to come down to badge preference and budget.

If Honda wants to they can give us SH-AWD or something crazy to further separate it from any rivals.

Most of the records that the CTR has been breaking are all because its FWD. With essentially no torque steer in either model, I don't think this change is really necessary. Its going to come with additional weight as well.

If that's true then a track focused version is in order for the track warriors.

Honda is already sort of their
