Thank you for the warm welcomes! I hope you are all staying healthy and safe.
Most of my friends aren't that tall, and I think it would work in a pinch. The main quirks I don't like about the N is the whole asymmetrical thing, it kinda messes with my OCD haha. I was also considering the new 2020 Si sedan to have four full doors but I think the Veloster N would definitely stand out and hold it's own waaaay more in a car meet full of higher end "big boy" cars like GT-R / Civic Type R / Evo / STI / Genesis Coupe / Focus RS / Golf R / Z / Supra etc.
I of course also would like to get a Civic Type R but I know for sure the markup situation is terrible in my state (I'm also on CivicX.com). Those 20" rims and the tires lasting only 10,000 miles set it back as a being a daily with less peace of mind in my opinion. They don't have any sound as well and I would prefer to not deal with putting aftermarket parts on my next car (Yes I know putting an aftermarket exhaust doesn't void the warranty or anything but still...). The car I had before my Si had a Tanabe catback exhaust and a cop told me to take it off after I got pulled over from a lightbulb that was out. Since then, I've just been turned off from modding/etc.
The Veloster N is fantastic right out of the box! As of now, I have to of course wait to return to work when things will be back to "normal" (We're all in a similar boat in one way or another I'm sure). The 2021 Veloster N updates coming up look sweet as well but I hope it won't raise the MSRP too much. I of course would choose the 6spd manual. I'm also curious to wait on the reveal of the next WRX STI but that's gunna be a while off.
