Think it would be covered by the warranty since it's still technically an oem Veloster N part? Dealership has no idea and I'm not really sure who else to ask. I'm in the north east US and I would love to have some heated seats for the half the year it's cold. I'm not concerned about the installation I'm ase certified so I can handle that or have it done by the dealer I just don't want to void anything.

You would only have a 12 month, 12000 mile warranty on the heated seats(parts only unless installed at dealer, then you will have labor warranty as well). You WILL lose electrical warranties due to modifications to the wiring harness. The ECU would also have to be flashed because the PODS (Passenger Occupancy Detection Sensor) on the seats will have to be programmed to the car. It will be a lot on money in parts, and even more money in labor.

I've become so accustomed to using in in the winter, its going to be rough for me later this year. Its all a preference thing. From what I've heard in our dealer meetings, if demand keeps rising along with sales and customer feedback, later model N's will have more options.

I know this is old, however. My Fiesta ST had heated seats and in the dead of winter waiting for the engine to warm up it was amazing to be warm instantly. I so miss this option. I do get the track car part, but I daily this vehicle 99% more than it will ever see track. any changes on the subject since May 2019?
