Dear All,

Since the first day I got my Veloster N, I noticed some noise (not a bad noise, but just like bearing spinning or shaaa..... kinda noise) when I let the clutch out in neutral (clutch pedal not pressed). The sound is not loud but definitely there. It goes away (like in 0.5 second) when I press the clutch pedal as if some "inertia" is in play.

Any experience?

That is totally normal. Nothing to worry about. Most manual transmission cars I have had have done the same exact thing.

Hey. A rattling may occur due to a change in load when the clutch discs are equipped with preliminary dampers. Sounds like this do not affect the functioning or durability of the clutch.

I noticed the same thing with my foot off the clutch pedal, it might be the clutch thrust (roller/ball type) bearing. Sometimes its called the clutch release bearing. Dave
