Took forever to find oil for the N. I specifically wanted 0w-30 with api of SN Plus. Only found Mobile 1 advanced fuel economy version of it. I found it hilarious when i jacked the car up, it lifted the whole side of the car. Never experienced that before. Very simple diy. Went to the dealer for a oem filter. 4k miles just cuz i dont drive it hard. Its my precious weekend car. She drives like a dream.

Nice looking 1 in the background. Tell us about it? Compare/contrast? I’ve always admired them.
M135i from 08. Stupid fast with the straight 6 twin turbos but its definitely a rough ride. It was my Brothers car and he was always going around 140mph in that thing, i was scared for my life riding with him. Definitely doesn't compare to the N speed wise. Its a whole other league. Hard to believe they had a faster version with the full M1.

Awesome! Looks easy. I was thinking of doing Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 5W-30 due to the Miami weather.

Any reason you went 0W-30? Fellow 305ian.. sweet looking 1!
Ive been interested in 0w30, I've never had a car than recommended it. So far its been great. Penzoil ultra platnum would have been my next pick though i actually bought a 5qt jug of 5w30 for 20 bucks on amazon yesterday to change the oil on my 2019 soul turbo.
Compared to the soul the N had a wayyyy easier oil change weirdly. Just make sure you have the right tool to remove the oil filter because its a pain in the ass if you only have the wrench. might want to pick up one of these (correct size might not be displayed, just a stock photo). Ive seen a few Ns in miami so far but never another PP. They upmark base model Ns around my area to like 35k so i actually had mine delivered from Tallahassee because it was msrp and performance blue. Hope i see you around sometime, mine has a nice dealer installed racing stripe so its pretty unique and hard to miss

Nice! I dont remember reading the oil recommendation as 0W-30 but instead 5W-30.

I was able to get mine down at downtown Miami for about 26.8 with PP as they thought it was a 2019. So win win! Hope to see you around.

Dude how did they manage to mess that up lol.
In regards to the oil, mine straight up says 0w30 on the cap. It says 0w30/5w30 in the manual so im sure it doesn't matter too much.

I been using penzoil ultra platinum euro lx 0w 30 j. I have been thinking of the mobil ow 30 seeing as i pay 9.99 a quart from advance auto and the mobil is generally 25.00 for 5 qt jug about half price and i had a 15 r-spec and always used mobil in that car. i have used mobil in just about every car i have had in the last 20 years.
