So I noticed today after a little spirited driving that when I arrived at my destination and shut the engine off the fan was still blowing to cool my engine off? Anyone else notice this I thought it was pretty cool I have never had a car that had done this before. 🙂

It's just a normal cool down cycle for the engine after shutoff. Temps will increase when the engine is shut off, do to residual heat soak. Outside temps have very little to do with the system.

yep, that's absolutely normal, sometimes fan can work even longer cause of steam in cooling system

This happened for the first time today after driving my '22. I'm still learning stick so I'm glad to hear this is pretty normal 😅 (and hopefully not due to my version of "spirited driving" lol)

Mine does it almost every time I shut the car off. Located in Texas and go over 80mph every time I drive it.
