I had a 17 wrx and honestly the N is way more refined. The wrx has a horrible shifter. The wrx did feel quicker when leaving first but the power is more robust in the veloster through the whole power band. Wrx drops off after like 4800 rpm and had horrible rev hang. Even though the veloster is fwd it feels more planted imo.

PeteNFlorida, rest assured your not the oldest and I may not be either. I am a 66 year old male and happily divorced for the last 29 years and still love driving cars and riding motorcycles FAST! especially on curvy roads! This car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it! Unfortunately some of the HYUNDAI Dealerships/Service Departments enthusiasm for the Veloster is lacking at best.

Male, 40, married, have an 11 yr old... the VNPP is mostly a fun toy car. Once my daily commute starts back up (when downtown Houston offices open) I'll likely commute with it a fair bit to save some gas.

Past cars include Sentre SE-R, Mustang GT w/ Saleen supercharger and multiple pickup trucks...

Male, married, 57 years old, no kids, one Wheaten, retired from Tech industry, live in north Tampa area. 52 total car purchases. More interesting ones include: GTI, Supra Turbo, MR2 Turbo, Legend Coupe, S2K, 900 Turbo, RX-7 Twin Turbo, RX8, M3, Z4M, 635ci, S4 Twin Turbo, S4 V8, TT3.2, G35, G37, M45 Sport, SLK55 AMG, IS-F, S60R, Speed3, WRX STi. Currently my wife drives a 19 Sante Fe Ultimate 2.0T. Male, 60. I turn 61 in just over a month. My other car is a red Genesis Coupe. Previously, I drove a Vibe GT (2ZZ...) and a Stealth R/T.

I am just a kid with gray hair.

so where would you rank the N on your list of favorites?
My two favorite cars of all time that I have owned are first VN PP and second 99 GC8 STI type R with a six speed swap and so much more. A close third is my 95 built LS1 240sx. Fourth my 90 RB 240sx pro am drift car and last but not least my 08 350z tied with my 2016 STI. Honorable mention 2013 500 Abarth. I honestly thought nothing could ever eclipse my 99 STI type R. It was a couple months before I finally decided the VN deserved to be number one. The VN is by no means the fastest car I have owned but it's the most enjoyable car I have ever owned. I wasn't into FWD cars until I drove it.

28 year old married male, no kids, not planning on having them any time soon. 2020 chalk white w/PP.
My other vehicle is an ‘06 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 and the wife has an ‘18 Ioniq. I have a fairly long commute to my office and wanted something more reasonable than a 1/2 ton pickup for commuting in. I love my truck and mostly just use it for trips to the mountains or Home Depot. I Also didn’t want something boring so my compromise was the N. After we got our Ioniq I started considering a Hyundai for myself and I landed on this gem of a car.
