Anyone de-badge their VN yet? Do any of them have alignment holes? I plan to remove some of the badges and the rest of them will be painted black.

My plans:

Front Grill Hyundai H Logo - Paint black to blend into front grill

Rear Veloster Badge - Remove

Rear Hyundai H logo - Remove if no alignment hole, if hole(s) exist, paint black

Rear "N" Logo - paint black? Leave the red detail on it. Still not sure on this one.

Also anyone know if there are badge available to purchase? Preferably with precut tape applied.

Good to know. Thanks! I will definitely be taking the Veloster badge off and I will probably pick up a few of the N badges to try some different painting options and see what I like best.

For the H logos, are they still fairly easy to remove? And are those badges available to buy? I'm assuming they would be the same as say a 2019 R-Spec or maybe even older model Velosters?

Hmm that actually looks pretty nice! Do the badges fit right into the recessed N logo already there?
Amazingly, they fit exactly. My theory is that they had planned to affix badges there but changed their minds to save a few bucks, and just left the indented silhouette.

I do wish they would have have just stitched the logo in, I think it would have looked much cleaner and probably cheaper as well! I'll be getting all weather mats anyways so it's not a huge concern for me, but stiched would have been better for sure.

All joking aside, I do not have floormats with N's. I thought it was suspicious at the time, and the car salesman just shrugged when asked. Do yours actually have N's stitched on or is that just a thing from Doug DeMuro?
The N's on the floor mats are the same as the metal badges found on the outside of the car. I'm not sure how their affixed. I assume they have a sticky back like the other badges, so they are essentially glued on. Good luck getting them off without destroying the mats!

I like the floor mats with the metal N badges, and I would have had a fit if my VN hadn't come with the floor mats.

Believe it or not those N badges are screwed on from the back of the mat. For floor mats I bought these:

https://www.carid.com/2019-hyundai-veloster-floor-mats/lloyd-clear-protector-floor-mats-162656.html

They make the 2 fronts and 2 backs for $60.00 and they make a trunk mat for $56.00. I got all of them. Makes the interior look very sporty and tech like at the same time. They are made of clear poly. They even have the mat fitment secure tabs like the factory mats. They fit just like the factory mats. I put them over the mats already in the car. They have little nips on the bottom that don't let them slide around and they are a cinch to clean.

Best regards,

Hmm. I ordered similar trunk badges but the fit was just off enough to really eat me up inside. I had to take them off. I am gonna try these as an alternative:

I like the look of them on the i30 forum. I will have to see if they fit the VN as neatly.

I ordered a set of badges from Ebay that were sized for the i30N side panel, but it did not quite fit in the silhouette that is on the Veloster N. However, they make really good door emblems on the inside!

Note: It was a guest Ebay login so I don't remember the exact ones I ordered, so maybe the ones you are looking at will fit. But the sizes didn't seem to match well enough when I ordered mine. This could just be a fault from the vendor and not a size discrepancy between the two model's logos.

I do like the look on the door interior. I will definitely follow your lead if they don't fit. Someone should make a sill inlay, it's cheap and easy and you see tons of i30 N's with them so why not the Veloster N!!!
