Another alternative is using Thermotec's aluminum liner. I'm gonna give it another go because the first one fell off - I'm not sure if it's because I didn't adhere it correctly
Carbon fiber hood
Just got a carbon fiber hood but cant seem to find answers regarding the OEM insulation pad. So I wanted to know if it's okay to run with the hood but without the insulation pad.
Everything seems to line up, but would need to drill into the fiberglass base. Before I make those mounting holes I wanted to get some input on the insulation pad.
Also - I'm wanting to run without the pad to get as much fresh air as possible.
