I've been trying to access the user settings page on the LCD. I've gone through the manual and it says to put the car in neutral, set the parking brake to access the menu. I've done both these things with the car running, with it not running. No matter what the LCD never changes from "Engage parking brake to edit settings". Does the moon have to be a certain phase? Maybe the Lions have to win a super bowl? I don't know

Did you push in the menu button in your steering wheel when you were trying to gain access, because you do need to do that. I know my saying that may seem stupid, but I'm honestly trying to help.
I mean the up/down toggle button.
Yes, I use the menu button to navigate through the different pages such as the oil temp/torque/turbo, and then the trip/fuel economy pages and I get to the user settings page, no matter what I do it just shows that image I have attached. Hitting the up/down select toggle button as well as depressing it for the OK command won't do anything on that page. Just tells me I need to set the parking brake. May just have to take it in to the dealer and see if they can figure it out.

I jumped in my wifes Tucson and it has the same LCD for the most part. Went to the User Settings page and was able to change settings in it no problem.

As lame as it may sound, all I wanted to do was to change the option to have all the doors unlock with one button press :smile_big:

I had my salesman take a look and it puzzled him. We went right over to a black PP N that they have sitting in their showroom and it was able to access the user settings just fine. The service writer could not get it to work on my car as well. Appointment scheduled for next Friday.

It's Hyundais problem not yours. Let them fix it. Probably nothing more than a button malfunction. You can disconnect the battery for 15-20 minutes and let the ECU reset back to factory specs, to see if this will solve the problem. Just takes a wrench and a few minutes. When all else fails, "reboot!"

Finally got it figured out. The technician had found that the neutral sensor on top of the transmission was not seated correctly between the harness and the connector. He suspected that a misalignment during the manufacturing process caused the connector to mash down the pins. This also caused the plug to not be fully clicked in. After straightening the pins he was able to successfully plug in the harness and click over the safety lock.

So the car never knew when it was in neutral, thus not allowing me to enter the user settings page. Hopefully that is my only hiccup, the car has been incredible so far.
