Just got my 2020 PP Performance Blue! It's currently at the shop for tint/clear bra, but I have one issue:

I noticed at higher RPMs near red line the car starts rattling/buzzing/vibrating.. doesn't seem normal. I still only have 100 miles on it. Is this because the car hasn't been "broken in" yet?

I had a similar problem with a car I used to have. I had a heck of a time hunting the buzz down (interior plastic panel) and shoving a little felt in back of the panel

I have this - it only happens in N mode though, which makes me think its the sound generator. It also started when it was super cold out for the first time, and seems to happen more during cold than warm temps.

This sounds like your sound generator. I assume you hear this at the front passenger side of the car at the windshield? If so, take a look at this thread.

My solution as well as many others since it's a common issue, unplug that thing.

I removed my sound generator yesterday since I believed it was responsible for annoying buzzing/vibration in the car which frequently occurs (but doesn't occur in normal mode).

The removal was very easy, and after removing it, I found that it was indeed the source of the problem. So I was pleased to remove it in that regard.

On the other hand, I was very surprised to find just how much the sound generator contributes not only to the volume of sound while driving in sport mode, but the quality and "fun factor" of the overall sound as well. Without the sound generator, the car is just slightly less fun than before.

Still, as others have mentioned, I am getting used to the difference quickly. I will evaluate the car for a week before deciding whether to keep the sound generator out permanently or not. But I probably will leave it out since the car still has a fine muffler sound and since the sound generator is, after all, fakery to begin with.

I had a vibration/buzzing sounds that got worse with engine RPM. I found that if I squeezed my rear view mirror, it went away. The dealer confirmed this and replaced the rear view mirror today under warranty. The sound is now gone.

That’s great to hear. Did you have to make an appointment ahead of time, or were you able to do a walk-in fix? Was it a quick fix?

Haha I also have this happen, this is where my buzzing is coming from. Dang they have to replace the rear view mirror? Ugh
