Hyundai Veloster N L4-2.0L, AEM Cold Air Intake System now available & around the $380.00 price range. Have not seen anything claimed on specifications and gains. It's not on their website as of yet. Yes, it does have a direct flow snorkel and heat shield from the factory location.

I like this one. I wonder if it is a 4" intake? If so, this would be nice with the Forge turbo tube. :)

Should I wait to jump on this? Or stick with the oem Airbox, pipercross air filter, and the velossa snorkel?
Personally I am holding off on the CAI. Seems like there are a few things in the works for that and the exhaust. So for now I am doing (did) the motor mount and short shifter. Then hoping to see where the new stuff lands price & performance wise.

I have this set up and love it. Until a sealed box with 4" piping comes out so I can attach it to the Forge turbo tube I am keeping the OE box with the PiperCross and the Velossa Tech snorkel. Works GREAT!!!

I tried a general experiment on both the K&N and the PiperCross. When I first got my PC filer in I took an old, cleaned K&N (flows just like a new one) and used a hair dryer to measure flow. The PiperCross let the air flow much more efficient than the K&N. I have used K&N or filters like them for over 25 years and the PiperCross flows better. It IS the next generation in filter design.

Best regards,

I purchased and installed the AEM intake about a month ago now and it is amazing! It could just be my imagination but I definitely think I feel noticeable gains with it and it sounds amazing, although I was a little disappointed with the amount of spool sound there was but with the ac and everything else off it is definitely still pretty noticeable and the turbo flutter sounds amazing

I have the same one and capped off the diverter hose inlet on the intake and removed the hose. It increased the sound a fair amount but still not enough for me. I'll be going with a BOV next since I really don't like leaving the diverter valve open to the elements like that even though it doesn't hurt it....
