Does anyone know a fix. I've been told the oem pads have high metal compound. So they rust into place? I've looked online for aftermarket pads. I really am not interested in racing pads I want quite, clean, longevity, and to not stick to my rotor. Maybe to much to ask.

I can't provide any information on brakes (i've seen some out there, but im not educated on the matter), but I can confirm for you that the locking brakes is due to the pads sticking to the rotors. This is a normal thing for our car when the rotors rust due to condensation/rain. I hate the sound and the jolting of it just as much as the next guy.

If you have the car parked outside, it's going to be a continuous problem. Put the car in reverse first and back up to brake them free.

EBC, and a few other have Pads, Rotors for the VN are scarce but they're available. Forge Motorsport Girodisc, StopTech off the top of my head.
